Crazy Good God

Crazy Good God, do you know Him? He's somethin' else! And He thinks you are AWESOME! My fifteen minute Episodes eventually became five minute Quick Deep Points. The QDPs will make you ponder! Episodes launch every Wednesday morning 5am. Since a child I was told about Jesus. Over the years there have been difficulties and losses that have heightened understanding of who He is. I was involved in numerous ministries and church leadership for several decades. There were many opportunities to see God at work. But, it wasn’t until 2012 that the Lord took me on a journey to discover the mystery of the Gospel, the wonder of Jesus’s incarnation, death, resurrection, and ascension. All of it involves us! For over ten years (hey, I’m a slow learner!) He exposed and dismantled religious mindsets that blocked my understanding of who He really is. Crazy good! Join me on a wondrous adventure to encounter and grasp Jesus's finished work. Religious Christianity tells us there are things we have to do or say to get saved. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." What does that mean? Sounds like Jesus did it all. God just wants us to enjoy His life. He freely gives it to all. All we do is RECEIVE! This crazy good God is head over heels in love with you and all mankind. He made us in His image and likeness so He doesn't make junk! God sees the hidden treasure in everyone. The fall of man brought darkened understanding, deception, and ignorance. The first lie was Adam and Eve thought God was holding out on them and really didn't care about them. What a big fat lie! Man still believes God is distant, aloof, angry, disappointed and we must do something to get back to God. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." Now, why do we think we have to do something? Get ready to be wowed! Find out jaw-dropping truths that will expose many lies you've believed about God. If you’ve tried to serve Him and still feel guilty, must do more, just plain worn out, then listen in. The truth is renewing and the Truth is FOR YOU! If you don't know God, never heard of Jesus, or could care less about God, then check out Crazy Good God podcast. You will be surprised and discover God is actually fun! I will even share some fascinating visions and dreams God has given me. They mean even more in light of Jesus' finished work. How cool is that?! QUESTIONS COMMENTS - I'd love to hear from you! Why being blind means will see Jesus How really good inclusive judgment

E38 Blindness and seeing are very important to God. Jesus said I judge no one, but later He said, ‘For judgment I have come into the world that those who do not see may see, and those who see become blind.’ Is that fair? Indeed, because in essence everyone will see! God will see to it! If you think you’re blind ask Him to open your eyes. If you're sure you see absolutely clearly ask Him to make you blind so He can make you really see! Never forget His timing is always perfect.

Hi, Nancy Teague here. Welcome to crazy Good God podcast and thanks for listening.

00:15 Have you ever considered blindness and seeing two big dynamics in the judgment of God? By the time we're done, you just might really value blindness.

00:28 Here's how judgment is gradually explained. The scriptures are in the transcript.

God sent his son not to judge the World but save it.

The father judges no one but committed all judgment to the son.

Jesus said, you judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

When Jesus was Speaking of judgment, he says, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men to myself. In other words, I will be the judgment for all of you.

The judgment included forgiveness. Father, forgive them. They know not what they do.

And let's not forget, God was in Christ on the cross, reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them.

01;17 We have the advantage of seeing the big picture, but in Jesus Day they only had bits and pieces and didn't get it. This fits right into the mystery of God's foolishness and grace. Blindness prevailed over the disciples, the masses, the Pharisees. And of course, blindness is still alive and active today.

01:40 Check out the blind judgements towards the man born blind. Jesus’ disciples asked, ‘Well, who sinned - this man born blind or his parents?’ Later in the story, the Pharisees said to the now seeing formerly blind man, ‘Are you teaching us? You were completely every part of you was born in sins.’ Whoa!

Now, we're really good at judging others, right? So we're blind too.

02:09 Jesus responded to the ‘who sinned’ question – “Neither this man nor his parents sinned. This man born blind was for the purpose that the works of God be clear and visible.” 02:23 The word work/works is ergon in the Greek. It's a deed or action that carries out, completes an inner desire, intention, purpose. Truly, Jesus embodied and expressed the desire, intention, purpose of the Father.

02:44 I encourage you to read the story in John 9 of the man born blind. There's humor, self-righteousness, judging, fear of reprisal, confrontations good and bad.

02:53 Now get this. Jesus heard the once blind man had been cast out by the religious Jews because he was challenging them. Jesus found him and brought even more light, more seeing. Upon literally seeing Jesus, he was overcome with belief and worshipped his Lord. Note, there was no asking forgiveness and repenting of sins.

03:19 Right after this man believed and worshipped, Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world that those who do not see may see, and that those who see become blind.

03:33 The word for – ‘for judgment’ - Greek word eis e-i-s - it means into, literally motion into which implying penetration/union to a particular purpose or result. Jesus penetrated the judgment. He became in union with it and purposely took on our judgment.

03:55 The word blind in the Greek - it means blind, physically or mentally. It also means vanity arrogance. It comes from a similar Greek word which means to be conceited, foolish, puffed up.

04:09 Here we have a man born physically blind who Jesus made see and the Pharisees mentally blind puffed up in their supposed seeing. Isn't it something they could easily judge the former blind man as completely wholly all parts of him born in sins. Hmm - isn't that what's preached and many believe today? You're born in sin. You're evil. You're bad. You have to do something to get right with God. How blind we've been to make salvation a self-work and judge others in the process.

04:45 On the cross, Jesus words “Father forgive them” and “It is finished” are actually his works that physically express God's inner desire, intention for all. Jesus saved the world!

05:00 What freedom in realizing you are blind, that you really don't know or see everything clearly. And that's okay. Ask him to open your eyes. The good news - He will!

05:12 Thank him for his judgment of making the blind see and those that see blind, because that means all will see! And don't forget Saul Tarsus, the Pharisee of Pharisees, made blind because he just knew he saw. My goodness, what he saw once he could really see!

Until next Wednesday, Bliss to you and never forget God is absolutely crazy about you!
