Crazy Good God

Crazy Good God, do you know Him? He's somethin' else! And He thinks you are AWESOME! My fifteen minute Episodes eventually became five minute Quick Deep Points. The QDPs will make you ponder! Episodes launch every Wednesday morning 5am. Since a child I was told about Jesus. Over the years there have been difficulties and losses that have heightened understanding of who He is. I was involved in numerous ministries and church leadership for several decades. There were many opportunities to see God at work. But, it wasn’t until 2012 that the Lord took me on a journey to discover the mystery of the Gospel, the wonder of Jesus’s incarnation, death, resurrection, and ascension. All of it involves us! For over ten years (hey, I’m a slow learner!) He exposed and dismantled religious mindsets that blocked my understanding of who He really is. Crazy good! Join me on a wondrous adventure to encounter and grasp Jesus's finished work. Religious Christianity tells us there are things we have to do or say to get saved. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." What does that mean? Sounds like Jesus did it all. God just wants us to enjoy His life. He freely gives it to all. All we do is RECEIVE! This crazy good God is head over heels in love with you and all mankind. He made us in His image and likeness so He doesn't make junk! God sees the hidden treasure in everyone. The fall of man brought darkened understanding, deception, and ignorance. The first lie was Adam and Eve thought God was holding out on them and really didn't care about them. What a big fat lie! Man still believes God is distant, aloof, angry, disappointed and we must do something to get back to God. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." Now, why do we think we have to do something? Get ready to be wowed! Find out jaw-dropping truths that will expose many lies you've believed about God. If you’ve tried to serve Him and still feel guilty, must do more, just plain worn out, then listen in. The truth is renewing and the Truth is FOR YOU! If you don't know God, never heard of Jesus, or could care less about God, then check out Crazy Good God podcast. You will be surprised and discover God is actually fun! I will even share some fascinating visions and dreams God has given me. They mean even more in light of Jesus' finished work. How cool is that?! QUESTIONS COMMENTS - I'd love to hear from you! How did resurrection show up in the Garden Did God need Adam Eve or anyone’s cooperation, comprehension, or repentance in order to save

E26 How did driving out Adam and Eve from the Garden give a prophetic picture of Jesus’ resurrection? If Jesus died while we were yet sinners and His death completed God’s will, then how does His gift of life by grace have anything to do with our cooperation, repentance, or having faith? If One died for all and all died, then how are we to see others?

Hi there! Welcome to crazy Good God podcast. I'm Nancy Teague, and thanks for listening. Any scriptures I reference will be at the bottom of the transcript that's provided with the podcast.

00:20 Last week in our Quick Deep Point, we talked about the flaming sword turning every which way. In Hebrew ‘turning’ implies the return of, to convert, to come back. Just think the Good News was right there when God drove Adam and Eve out of the garden. Many think God was angry at Adam and Eve, but He was actually caring for them. Reconciliation, redemption, restoration were already in the works before the foundation of the world!

00:54 Another aspect to think about are the Cherubim on the EAST side of the garden. In the Hebrew, the word ‘east’ comes from the verb, meaning ‘to rise up’. This word is also used for the sun rising. So, ‘to rise up’ - we're talking about resurrection! When Adam and Eve went out of the garden through the east side, they prophetically walked into the resurrection and destined into new life. That's amazing!

01:30 The word says “the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.”

01:42 Think of how God covered Adam and Eve's self-proclaimed nakedness with skins, which is a picture of Jesus’ body, His flesh becoming sin and covering all our sins. The animals that died in order to cover Adam and Eve, and henceforth all the sacrifices yet to come, ultimately pointed to the One sacrifice for mankind. Only in Jesus’ death would resurrection life come to all mankind. It also says Jesus’ sacrifice ended all sacrifices.

02:22 Consider Adam and Eve were driven into the wilderness, so was Jesus driven into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted. Jesus identified with all mankind. It's all part of the unfolding of God saying, ‘I got you and I'm not leaving and I'm never going to let you go, and I am making the Way for you through My grace.’

02:49 Paul wrote, ‘We are saved by Grace and not by works, lest any man should boast.’ God lavished His grace upon us, and it started in the Garden! Our being restored to God has nothing to do with our cooperation, our repentance, our faithfulness. God is the only one who's faithful. All of us are faithless in some degree or another, and any faith we have is Jesus’ faith - it is a gift, an enablement. God is always faithful and true because He cannot contradict Himself.

03:30 We can be messed up and aren't we often? But God has His intentional plan and purpose to get us UN-messed. It's not dependent on our comprehension or cooperation to come into the Kingdom, or even get UN-messed. It's a work of the Spirit. It really is about receiving His incredible gift of life and fullness.

03:59 Paul wrote while “We were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly.” We were in darkness, ignorance, distortion, falsehoods. And God goes – ‘That's okay, I'll die for all because I alone know who you are. I know who I made and I will restore what I made.’

04:19 The world will continue to not listen, and my goodness, what a spiraling mess we are in today! But, that does not perplex God. God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son.

04:36 God never wanted anyone to stay in death, to stay miserable, hopeless, confused, deceived. He is life! That's what He put in His reflections - all of us. In the mystery of His wisdom and His divine ecology, He planned death to bring resurrected life. God’s MO, is in truth, life out of death!

05:03 Never forget God is impartial. He has no favorites. Now Paul had revelation of this and it made him beside himself. And he said, “One died for all and therefore all died, and thus we now no longer regard anyone according to the flesh.” Paul saw Jesus’ finished work in everyone. Paul saw the treasure in earthen vessels. That treasure is in you - always has been, always will be. And that same treasure, the light shining in darkness, is in everyone to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.

05:42 ‘Oh, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.’ To repeat this because it's so amazing. ‘Oh, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints!’ He's called everyone innocent and blameless and holy before time began.

06:03 May God open your eyes more and more to see Jesus everywhere in the Garden and everywhere else, and within. What a life-giving resurrection view.

Until next Wednesday, Bliss to you and never forget God is absolutely crazy about you.
