Crazy Good God

Crazy Good God, do you know Him? He's somethin' else! And He thinks you are AWESOME! My fifteen minute Episodes eventually became five minute Quick Deep Points. The QDPs will make you ponder! Episodes launch every Wednesday morning 5am. Since a child I was told about Jesus. Over the years there have been difficulties and losses that have heightened understanding of who He is. I was involved in numerous ministries and church leadership for several decades. There were many opportunities to see God at work. But, it wasn’t until 2012 that the Lord took me on a journey to discover the mystery of the Gospel, the wonder of Jesus’s incarnation, death, resurrection, and ascension. All of it involves us! For over ten years (hey, I’m a slow learner!) He exposed and dismantled religious mindsets that blocked my understanding of who He really is. Crazy good! Join me on a wondrous adventure to encounter and grasp Jesus's finished work. Religious Christianity tells us there are things we have to do or say to get saved. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." What does that mean? Sounds like Jesus did it all. God just wants us to enjoy His life. He freely gives it to all. All we do is RECEIVE! This crazy good God is head over heels in love with you and all mankind. He made us in His image and likeness so He doesn't make junk! God sees the hidden treasure in everyone. The fall of man brought darkened understanding, deception, and ignorance. The first lie was Adam and Eve thought God was holding out on them and really didn't care about them. What a big fat lie! Man still believes God is distant, aloof, angry, disappointed and we must do something to get back to God. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." Now, why do we think we have to do something? Get ready to be wowed! Find out jaw-dropping truths that will expose many lies you've believed about God. If you’ve tried to serve Him and still feel guilty, must do more, just plain worn out, then listen in. The truth is renewing and the Truth is FOR YOU! If you don't know God, never heard of Jesus, or could care less about God, then check out Crazy Good God podcast. You will be surprised and discover God is actually fun! I will even share some fascinating visions and dreams God has given me. They mean even more in light of Jesus' finished work. How cool is that?! QUESTIONS COMMENTS - I'd love to hear from you! 0:00:09.6 S1: Hi there. Welcome to

0:00:11.6 S2: Crazy Good God podcast. I'm Nancy Teague, and thanks for listening! For more info, go to www.crazygoodgod.org. The next five-minute Quick Deep Point is about faithless faithful faith, and it connects to episode 13 where we talked about hell. Where is faith? Here's two scriptures, of many, that help locate it. 2Timothy 3:15 “…on account of faith which is in inside, within Christ Jesus.” Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author, founder, originator, and finisher, completer, perfecter of THE faith.” Many translations say, our faith. The Greek is THE faith. Hmm. Faith is in Jesus. It's His faith! Any faith we have is a quickening of His in us. Hebrews 11:1,” Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Let's put in Jesus. Jesus the Faith is the substance. Jesus is the hope. Jesus is evidence of things not seen. So, here's some Greek. Faith means persuasion, divine persuasion of the human heart. Faith is always a gift from God. The Lord births faith. It is not our faith. Substance means assurance, a guarantee. reality. Hope is to expect, actively waiting, to anticipate. Not seen.

0:02:04.3 S2: Now, seen is the word blepo. It's an interesting word. There are several Greek words for ‘see’, but blepo is a kind of seeing that carries what is seen into the spiritual immaterial realm. To not blepo means what you see in the physical goes nowhere! The mystery of faith, not seen, it's a deeper level of faith, you see absolutely nothing that gives you any level of reassurance, and all you have is to trust Jesus and expect Him, even if all is a mess. Now, us being faithless is not a problem for God. Anyone can be faithless. Refused to be persuaded, deny, contradict, be ruled by negative feelings, thoughts, words, lies. But inside you is Jesus, whether you believe in Him or not! He believes in you! Do you know believe comes from the Greek word for faith? So Greek believe means be persuaded to be persuaded of. It's like a light bulb comes on in you – ‘It's true, I get it, I believe it!’ God activates His faith inside of you, and you believe! Now, check out this BAD translation, Hebrews 4:3-6, this is the New King James. ‘Those who believe enter his rest…but some will not enter because of disobedience!’ Gosh, looks like sinning, breaking the law - you go to hell.

0:03:43.9 S2: The Greek for disobedience is willful unbelief, refuse to be persuaded. It's the same as faithless! Talk about a wrong translation. Disobedience does not get us in hell, only non-acceptance, refusing to be persuaded of Jesus’s finished work does. Hmm, maybe faithless is related to stubborn! God is never unpersuaded about you. Jesus's faith is His absolute persuasion about all of us. Have you ever considered Faith was hanging on the cross? Have no faith? Listen to this. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19, Enter His faith. It's in you! Hey, I just thought of this. How about this for a deep question, does His faithfulness fill those in hell? Scriptures say, Jesus made all things, fills all things, holds all things together, we are loved with an everlasting love, and yet He allows us to choose faithless! Yet He cannot be unpersuaded about us no matter where we are! Hmm. Until next Wednesday's Quick Deep Point, Bliss to you and never forget, God is absolutely crazy about you.
