Hi! Welcome to Crazy Good God podcast. I’m Nancy Teague and thanks for joining me.

00:09   The previous two episodes, about a vision I had of clouds unfolded in great  happiness.

Well, then this past week I came across scripture that pointed to God’s happy judgment.  So happy seems to be the Spirit’s theme here.

Do you know that nature rejoices over God’s judgment? Would you agree that most are anxious or scared about God’s judgment? Christian religiosity fuels that fear.

00:43   Here’s the background of the passage about nature rejoicing. The ark was brought back to the City of David. David was overjoyed. He was whirling and playing music. Then he gave a new Psalm to Asaph. This Psalm overflows with thanksgiving, singing to the Lord, glorying in God’s holy name, remembering His marvelous works and God’s judgments! Now that sure looks positive in terms of man’s response to God’s judgments.

1:17   Then David portrays nature’s response. Heavens rejoice.  Earth is glad.  Sea roars and all its fullness.  The field rejoices and all in it.  The trees of the woods rejoice before the Lord. WHY is nature doing this? It says – “BECAUSE HE’S COMING TO JUDGE THE EARTH!”

David concludes: Oh give thanks to the Lord for His is good (meaning pleasant, sweet, agreeable to the senses) and His mercy (goodness, kindness) endures forever.’

“For He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness and the people with His truth.” Truth means fidelity, steadfastness.

02:10   Here’s more Nature rejoicing. God is saying - My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways. My thoughts/ways are better because they are nothing but the best for you! Let Me explain - like the rain and snow from heaven blesses all – it gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater. Everyone benefits. My higher thoughts even result in - you will go out with joy, be led forth in peace. On top of this the mountains and hills break forth in singing before you and the trees of the field will clap their hands in response to your joy!

02:49   If nature rejoices so expressively in God’s judgment, then why are we so FEARFUL of it? What is it that nature sees, that we do not? Well one thing, nature is themselves. We are stuck in our fallen identity. We live a lie of separation, guilt, condemnation, not good enough.

When revelation begins to unfold of Oneness in Him, of Christ always in you – you will begin to sense a well spring of inner joy, of acceptance, of His pure enjoyment over you. You will begin to sense the resonance of nature with God’s GOOD JUDGMENT.

03:33   Paul wrote – ‘the whole earth groans for the revealing of the sons of men, and those who really see His goodness also groan’ – because they want everyone to really see who they are.

03:47   “Awake sleeper and rise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”  In other words – wake up to see who you really are and what Jesus Christ did for you and everyone.

03:58   Well, what are God’s judgments? Perhaps we could say Jesus is God’s judgment. God incarnate, Jesus fully Man fully God brought God’s judgment (meaning decision, arrangement) to earth. What judgment was declared?  Jesus uttered, ‘Father, forgive them they know not what they do. I have glorified Your name on the earth. I have completed the work You have given Me to do. It is finished.’

04:30  GOD’S JUDGMENT in its essence MEANS RESTORATION! No wonder nature is so happy! In light of God’s good judgment, why do we think Jesus’ second coming means He will destroy some? Well, religious Christianity tells us so.

04:50   But, Jesus’ SECOND COMING is to FULLY MANIFEST TO ALL HIS BENEVOLENT JUDGMENT for mankind! Here’s why. “Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many…by that one offering, once for all, He sanctified us and has perfected us forever. Then He will appear a second time APART FROM SIN for salvation - welfare, health, preservation, deliverance, rescue, safety.  Now note, APART FROM SIN JESUS IS COMING AGAIN! That’s really good news!

05:31   The Father and Son already judged the world when God was in Christ reconciling the world to themselves, not counting their trespasses against them. God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us that we be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And lest we forget – Jesus rose from the dead because He justified (made righteous) mankind.

Gosh, HIS JUDGMENT REALLY IS HAPPY! Nature sees it and that’s why the earth groans for the revealing of the sons of men that they see it too. May you enter into His finished judgment of joy unspeakable and full of glory!

Until next Wednesday, Bliss to you and never forget God is absolutely crazy about you!
