Hey, welcome to Crazy Good God Podcast! I’m Nancy Teague and thanks for joining me.
00:15 The previous episode focused on a vision about the great cloud of witnesses and the dynamic they represent. Today I’ll talk about the other three things I saw in this vision.
In Jan 2022 I also saw – a huge, angled structure-like cloud, a baby elephant, and a dog. Now what on earth do they have to do with heaven, God, and us? As an aside- realize sometimes it takes a while, months, years to understand what God is wanting us to really see in dreams/vision/words.
00:50 Here’s how these three things appeared.
As the vision began it felt like I was seeing white clouds. Then, surprisingly, a large, angled structure rose up pushing through the floor of the cloud right before me. There were multiple formations connected to each other and had angled sides. One of them was taller than the others. It was impressive, looked strong, yet not intimidating. My thought in the vision – “What is that?!”
01:20 It took a while to figure out what the angled formation. One day it dawned on me it was like a quartz mineral rock. I found an image and sure enough that’s what I saw. With more searching I discovered Quartz is the most abundant mineral in the Earth’s crust – found around the world. Quartz is hexagonal (six sided). It is extremely resistance to physical and chemical weathering. Quartz vibrates at a precise frequency! Quartz minerals are stunning as they jut up and beautiful to look at.
01:57 Similarities of quartz to us. The number for man is six and mankind is everywhere on the earth. Faith is like weathering life’s storms and makes us resilient. We are mirror images of God which means we resonate with His life. We are internally tuned into His precise frequency of fullness – even if we don’t know it. Remember we first came from above, from nothing, from His thoughts. Jesus is totally in tune in His thoughts of us even before He formed us in the womb. And to realize Jesus loves His thoughts!
02:44 Then I saw a baby white elephant on clouds below me. It was so funny to see this as the little elephant was happily bouncing up and down. Kind of like being on a cloud trampoline! Its trunk and ears were flopping and down on this soft cloud.
The white baby elephant. Elephants have very strong social connections. They symbolize companionship and ancestral lineage. Our lineage comes from Father Son Holy Spirit. They have mutual companionship. We were made to mirror Their relationship. That’s why we’re drawn to others and desire connections. A small white elephant is emblematic of eternity, compassion, love, kindness, patient endurance, gentleness, purity. Elephants become stronger as they grow and hence can move heavy things. Just like growing in faith, in trust empowers and enables us to more levels in the spirit.
03:47 The white baby elephant delightfully boinging up and down is a wondrous picture of playful innocence, no hindrances, freedom, happiness. It is a picture of us in the Kingdom – abandoned to whimsical fun. Now religiosity thinks God is serious, but Jesus, God in the flesh, certainly dispelled that lie.
O4:08 Next, I saw a dog with floppy ears sprawled out on a cloud comfortably resting and enjoying the softness of the cloud.
Dogs are a picture of friendship, loyalty, protection, innocence, unconditional love, companionship. The dog in the vision reminded me of my Clyfford, a cockapoo, who has floppy ears. Clyfford does not know a stranger. Every person he sees or meets is his best friend – UPS FedEx delivery person, plumber, drywaller, visitors to our house, children, the Vet, the Vet’s assistant, whoever. Clyfford never prejudges and to him everyone is wonderful. Clyfford has no hidden agenda or ulterior motives. In fact, he doesn’t even know he’s a dog – he just does dog without even thinking about it. Talk about ‘being’ in a place of rest!
05:04 Gosh, just think - free from self-judgment and judging others, enjoying and loving everyone with no strings attached. Truly living in the moment.
I never would have thought quartz, a baby elephant, and a dog with floppy ears could be fun pictures describing our true identities and life in His Kingdom. What a sense of humor God has. Just consider the bottom line in this vision, including the cloud of witnesses, is all about relationship. Happy enjoyable connections. Remember the quartz mineral arises as a group. What strength in connections – just like oneness in Father Son and Holy Spirit. And we are one in Jesus. What frivolity and strength and encouragement are in Your clouds! Open our eyes, Lord, to see more.
